FAQ

Common questions, clear answers.

What happens if I need to reschedule?

You can reschedule any time up to 24 hours before your session at no cost. Inside the 24-hour window, we'll work with you and the expert to find a new time when possible.

What documents should I bring?

Whatever's relevant to what you want to discuss — your I-797, RFE, denial notice, draft petition, evidence list, or simply a written summary of your situation. You'll be able to share documents through your session brief.

Are these sessions recorded? Can I take notes?

Sessions are not recorded by default, out of respect for the expert and the candor of the conversation. You're welcome — and encouraged — to take notes throughout.

Can my attorney join the session?

Yes. Many clients invite their immigration attorney to attend. Just let us know in your brief so the expert can prepare accordingly.

What if you don't have an expert for my situation?

If our matching team can't pair you with someone who has direct experience in your case type, we'll let you know upfront and refund any payment in full. We don't take a session we can't deliver on.

How is this different from hiring an immigration lawyer?

An immigration lawyer represents you — they draft your filings, sign your forms, and advocate for you with USCIS. Expert Sessions are different: a former officer shares how cases like yours are actually adjudicated, what raises flags, and what tends to persuade. It's strategic insight, not legal representation. Many people use both.
